THE KITCHEN GOLDEN RULES:
(you already know them, don't you?)

1) GO SEASONAL: strawberries in the winter? There is more flavour in missing them, than in eating them. There is always the right moment for each pleasure.
2) GO LOCAL: for fresh produce, try something that wouldn't require a VISA if it were a person.
3) INVEST IN QUALITY: have the best olive oil you can get your hands on. We promise it will make anything edible and healthy
4) TAKE TIME: vacation begins when the journey starts, not when you get to destination...Make preparation enjoyable all the way.
5) BE TOLERANT: when following a recipe: cooking is not an exact science! Organic eggs are not all the same size, hot dry weather can make your pasta dough extra-thirsty, arugola or peppers can be mild to super-spicy, etc

6) MATCH WELL:

7) SHARE THE REWARDS!. Only the first-time utmost masterpieces and the horrible kitchen disasters may gain from being eaten alone. Everything else is worth eating in company.
8) SET A BEAUTIFUL TABLE. You know the story about wearing your pretty underwear everyday? Same: use your best tableware. It will enhance good work and muffle the blunders.
