Is absolutely for
everybody, even the kitchen helpless!
After the winetasting, we head to a century old parish where we start our hands-on
lesson and prepare homemade ravioli and tagliatelle,
right from scratch. Then our guide-chef will set the table and serve
antipasti and other local treats, so you can sit down to
enjoy the fruits of your labour.
After lunch, you can relax
on the lawn, chat at the table while having espresso
the italian way.
We recommend it to everybody, (
children love making angelhair pasta!), as a fun way to learn
a delicious and easy italian meal and to enjoy a day in the
countryside.
"Italia has history and beauty...yet nothing
compares to the FABULOUS experience of cooking and eating with new friends.
Bellissimo!"
Marc of Cincinnati
"This cooking class was full of fun, food and great new friends.
The teachers are the very best you can get.
Everyone should visit and experience this!"
Marsha Williams, Cin.OH
"A day without this tour is a day without sun. This experience of seeing areas that
are 100's of years old preserved for everyone to enjoy, the experience of making pasta
Italian style and a meal fit for a king.
Many many thanks for such a wonderful experience."
Armand and Blanche Canta fio, Orange, CT 06467
The
Walking Tour:
Consists of
a stroll through the olive groves, vineyards and a 600 year old
parish, and is suitable for all outdoors lovers in
comfortable shoes.
We recommend it for anybody who
wants to spend a relaxing day outdoors in the countryside.
Both tours enjoy an easy and relaxed pace. Plenty of photo stops,
and chances to catch our breath, admire the scenery and let the guide tell us some
interesting anecdotes about the area.
We then head towards a private country home or a family
run trattoria, where we enjoy a well deserved genuine lunch, complete with coffee, dessert
and unlimited wine.
With no rush we leasurely head back to town.
In general, we believe it is the group itself that determines the pace of the tour, and
not the opposite.
"Thank you so much for teaching my
mom and I about the wine and olive oil production. At the end our walk was the most
incredible lunch I've had (and I have lived here for 4 months!!!).The guides were also
great, Keep it up!"
Tiana and Nasrin Hakimi, NYC, NY
"Thank you Tim for one of the best
days I've had in Italy.
I've learnt a lot from your knowledge about history, arts and the Tuscan country. The
itinerary is perfectly arranged and I am so touched by the beauty of the country and your
passion and enthusiasm. Thank you!"
Zhang Yi, P.R. China
The Bike Tour:
Get ready for some adventure! with a little
enthusiasm and patience, the route is feasible by most.
The ride covers only 10km, but most of it is unpaved, sometimes
rocky terrain. Just bear the Renassaince landscapes in mind: it's
never flat!
We recommend this tour if you are
looking to get a good workout, are up for vigourous excercise,
and don't mind breaking a sweat while enjoying an adventurous ride.
You need some
montain biking experience.
"I've travelled many places around the world and
this is one of the greatest experiences I've had. I will never forget this adventure....
the bike ride, the countryside, the incredible food, wonderful italian home ambiance, and
of course the bottomless bottle of Chianti!!"
Quincy Stroeing, Minneapolis, MN
Our New Evening Tour:
The Sunset Stroll:
If you are on a time budget, you don't have to
choose between the Uffizi and a taste of Chianti : our afternoon departure will allow time
for museums and shopping before we take you on top of the hills overlooking Florence.
A
visit to the secrets of a private, top rank winery estate in the hill of chianti -
followed by a generous winetasting - will open the tour. Then a medieval private mansion
for a homecooked gourmet dinner prepared by Martina, the landlady, preceded by aperitivo
on the terrace or by the fireplace (depending on the season) and followed by homemade
dessert wines and liquors.
An authentic yet magical experience you will not
soon forget.
Remember: our "satisfaction
guaranteed or the tour is on us" applies to this tour too !
Vegetarian or restricted menu on request.
"This was our best day in Firenze! Much better than any museum.
The land was beautiful, the people wonderful and the food was spectacular. Thanks for the
hospitality and sharing so much with us!"
Jeff Alison, Dallas, TX
"Thank you so much for opening up your beautiful villas and lovely
homes to us, I had a wonderful time being an "accidental tourist" and enjoying
the amazing views and food of Tuscany. Thank you!"
