1. Be respectful! You will spend most of your day on private property. Please ask before you take pictures inside buildings, and if you smoke (outside!) remember to put out your cigarette and dispose of it safely.
2. Be responsible! Our activities may entail more or less exercise. Please check our F.A.Q. to help you evaluate the difficulty level of each excursion, ask if you are in doubt, and make a responsible decision.
3. Be tolerant! If we have to wait for a few minutes for a late arrival, a slow walker, an apprentice cook, a beginner biker, don’t lose your patience. Today, we are in no hurry. Sometimes, an unpredicted delay can trigger interesting conversations.
4. Be open! We have members from all over the world, and the likelihood of being exposed to new cultures is high. There is a lot to learn, and that is why we enjoy this job immensely.
5. Share! Please tell us and your fellow travellers of any great or not-so-great experiences you’ve had in your travels: we believe in word of mouth, and thrive on it.
6. Understand!: the most important part of our work is you. You are the Rhyme and Reason of our Club, and we’ll d our best to show you we mean it. ….But an occasional (seldom!) emergency may cause an excursion to cancel…if you supply us with a phone contact we’ll be sure to inform you in due time!
7. Be curious! Open your eyes, nose, mouth, ears, heart. All the extra pleasure you can soak in is free, and all yours to take home.
