Sunset Stroll and Concerto

The Sunset Stroll is a romantic option that offers breathtaking views of our Chianti contryside, an extensive wine tasting in a magical setting, a gourmet meal, and your very private live a cappella concert!

From start to finish the Sunset Stroll was wonderful - the scenery was breathtaking as expected; Steve was a delightful host and guide, with excellent knowledge, humor and insights, and it was a highlight and true pleasure to hear him sing.
Our dinner with Steve and Anita at the "farmhouse" was absolutely fabulous - from the moment we were welcomed by Anita with an aperitivo by the fireplace, we enjoyed great conversation, laughter, friendship, and excellent Tuscan cooking - we enjoyed every taste of the wonderful food prepared.
We felt very welcome and truly enjoyed our time with Steve and Anita, who are both wonderful ambassadors for Accidental Tourist, Firenze and Italy....

This tour is available for parties of 2 and up.

Plenty of time to enjoy a orning of shopping or sightseeing: we meet for pick up in the center of Florence at 3:30 pm (week ends and longest summer days, pick up time may vary).

A scenic drive to the romantic Chianti countryside, then a wine tasting in a 14th century monastery in the heart of a winery estate will follow.

A 30 minute scenic drive will take us back just to the outside of Florence to a private residence, a 200 year-old farmhouse, where the landlady will welcome you with aperitivo on the terrace (or by the fireplace, depending on the season).

The dinner is a unique elaboration of traditional Tuscan cooking, all strictly home-made from scratch, The menu includes the following, which will vary according to the season:

  • aperitivo and snack
  • 3 antipasti
  • first course (pasta, risotto or soup)
  • second course (meat, fish or a vegetarian alternative)
  • a side dish of vegetables
  • dessert
  • after dinner liquors
  • Chianti wine throughout the meal

Steve Woodbury, your personal guide and an intertionally esteemed medieval and baroque singer, will sing for you from his repertoire.

Return to Florence will take less than 20 minutes, and is estimated around 9:30 pm

The atmosphere is magical yet informal.
The cost for the tour, start to finish, is 120 €.
