As native Italians, we know all too well that there is no part-time when it comes to food and wine...
Seeing the non-touristy side of the Chianti countryside, enjoying wine in a 14th century monastery and sitting at a real farmhouse table, explains more about the essence of Italian style than any book, TV program, crash course.
What our countryside means to every Florentine is culture, history, nature, food, wine, beauty; all together. Please let us help you make the most of it with our most popular version of the cooking class: WINE&COOK ....

But if you really only have half day to spend as an Accidental Tourist, and are keen to learn how to make pasta from scratch, you can go straight to our cooking class:

We’ll pick you up in Florence at 12:30. In about 30 minutes, we will arrive to destination: the setting will be a private historical home in the countryside (be it an 800-year old villa on the hills over Florence, or a thousand-year old farmhouse in Chianti), where we’ll learn how to make homemade ravioli from scratch, and other types of pasta.

(It’s a hands-on lesson, you don’t just watch a chef do all the work ...).
The tour will end up with a plentiful home-cooked lunch, with unlimited wine, coffee and homemade dessert included.

After lunch, we can relax on the lawn, chat at the table while having espresso the Italian way, or even have a quick snooze while everybody exchanges addresses and suggestions!.

Let's make Angel-hair pasta...

Angel-hair preparation...

Angel-hair ready to be boiled

We recommend it to everybody, (children love making angel-hair pasta!), as a fun, weatherproof way to learn a delicious and easy Italian meal and to enjoy an afternoon in the countryside.

"A day without this tour is a day without sun.
This experience of seeing areas that are 100's of years old preserved for everyone to enjoy, the experience of making pasta Italian style and a meal fit for a king.
Many many thanks for such a wonderful experience."
